Red Viking specializes in cross-border lending, and can structure securities-backed loans for your clients across multiple jurisdictions. Currently, we structure loans collateralized by securities listed on 38 primary-listing exchanges in 31 countries across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Our rationale for transacting (or not transacting) in any given country varies. First and foremost, we require a regulatory, disclosure, and settlement framework supportive of cross-border securities-backed lending. Beyond that, we prefer countries with political stability, business-friendly policies, established financial markets, and healthy economies.
